EvenFlo®

This video outlines the hallmarks of poorly performing sites and introduces a patented technology advancement that optimizes feedwell performance. The feedwell provides conditions that are critical for flocculation, feed dilution, and mixing duration. A poorly performing feedwell results in conditions such as inadequate flocculation, short circuiting, poor overflow clarity, and excessive flocculant usage. Exclusively from WesTech, the EvenFlo® feedwell optimizes thickener performance to eliminate these conditions. For 20+ years, WesTech has used its experience and expertise to refine paste and thickened tailings technologies. Our 2021 presentation, videos, articles, and engineers can help you better understand the benefits of paste thickening.

Paste

WesTech has supplied a variety of paste thickener technologies to sites around the world, each optimized for the particular climate in which the thickener operates. In this video, you will see compelling footage of how surface stacking is successfully operating in climates ranging from subtropic environments that experience over a meter of monsoonal precipitation to arid environments where increased water recovery is critical. Conventional slurry ponds are converted to surface stacks by depositing the paste sub-aqueously, which displaces the water, allowing sites to recover water as the stack builds. Our expertise and wholistic approach can help with your tailings dewatering as well.
