Technical
- I can't access the presentations when I click 'Watch Live'. What do I do?
We first recommend you check Zoom is installed on your computer/device, as the presentations are delivered via Zoom. Once installed, you may wish to refer to our Attendee Zoom Guide for additional information.
- I am a presenter. How do I present on the Paste 2021 platform?
Please refer to our Presenter Zoom Guide for information about conducting your presentation via the Paste 2021 online event platform and Zoom.
Communication
- Can I chat with people online?
The Paste 2021 platform does not have a chat function, however, you can chat with online attendees via Zoom. Please ensure that you select who your message will be sent to before sending, as the default setting is to message all attendees.
- How do I contact a sponsor?
Click 'Sponsors' in the menu across the top of the event page or the 'Sponsors' box on the home page. Clicking on the sponsor's logo will take you to their profile. Click 'Website' or 'Email' to contact the sponsor.
- How do I contact a speaker?
Click ‘Speakers’ in the menu across the top of the event page. Navigate to the speaker you would like to contact and click the LinkedIn logo. This will take you to their LinkedIn profile so you can connect with them. In accordance with the UWA Privacy Policy, we will not disclose personal information unless permission is provided for us to do so. Visit the ACG booth for the authorised Paste 2021 conference delegate list.
- How do I submit a question to a speaker?
If you would like to submit a question to a speaker, you can do so before the event and during their presentation. To submit before the event, click ‘Questions for Speakers’ in the menu across the top of the event page. Click ‘Submit your questions here’ and complete the online form. To submit during the presentation, please type your question in the chat box on Zoom and ensure that you are sending it to everyone so that the speaker, session chairperson and the event audiovisual team can see the question.
Presentations
- Can I record the presentations?
You are not permitted to record Paste 2021 presentations. Both the Attendee and Presenter Terms & Conditions state, 'The ACG applies restrictions on recording the Hybrid Event. All unauthorised recording, video recording, and photography or transmission of the Hybrid Event's course material, data, or information is expressly prohibited'.
- I can't make one of the Paste 2021 Conference presentations or I have missed a Paste 2021 Conference presentation. Can I watch a recording of it online?
The ACG will make the presentations available on-demand post-event until 23 November 2021.
- I can't make one of the short course presentations or I have missed a short course presentation. Can I watch a recording of it online?
The short course presentations will not be recorded and made available on-demand post-event. Course notes will, however, be distributed to short course attendees only post-event, subject to presenter approval.
Papers and Proceedings
- How do I access the papers being presented?
All Paste 2021 papers are freely available via the ACG Online Repository of Conference Proceedings at papers.acg.uwa.edu.au/paste2021. You can also access the papers via the Paste 2021 platform by navigating to 'Papers' in the menu across the top of the event page.
